ITINERARY

– Transfer towards Palomino, lunch, tubing 15-minute transportation, 40 minutes’ hike, 1.30 or 2 horas in the river, local guides.

 

– Dinner and accommodation in Hostel.

– Departure towards Camarones to the flora and fauna sanctuary to watch the Pink Flamingoes, canoe trip or 2-hour hike with bird observation accompanied by local guides.

 

– Transfer to a Wayuu Rancheria and enjoy a typical lunch, where we can interact with the indigenous, have conversations with the women, listen to myths and legends and other stories know their culture, dances and handcrafts.

 

– Continue the trip towards Cabo de la Vela, passing through Uribia, Colombia’s Indigenous Capitol, Manaure and the salt mines and the reed bed desert, the lighthouse and sunset in the Water Eye Beach.

 

– Dinner and accommodation at Cabo de la Vela in a Wayuu Hostel, in a room with private bed and restroom.

– Breakfast, departure towards Punta Gallinas through the Guajiran desert, stop at Pusheo road shop, Deep Bay, Taroa Dunes, hike, photos and sea bath.

 

– Tour of the Punta Gallinas Lighthouse, the northernmost point of South America and Colombia with lunch.

 

– Dinner and accommodation at Punta Gallinas in a Wayuu Hostel, in a room with private bed and restroom.

– Breakfast, visit to the Needle Point Beach, optional (boat ride through Bahia Hondita to see the pink flamingoes), lunch and walking tour at La Boquita Beach.

 

– Dinner and accommodation at Punta Gallinas in a Wayuu Hostel, in a room with private bed and restroom.

– Breakfast, return towards Cabo de la Vela, visiting the Sugar Pylon, hike to the Sugar Pylon, sea bath and departure towards Riohacha, passing though Uribia where you will be having lunch to continue to the airport or the city of origin.
