The department of La Guajira is located in the north of the country and the plain of the Caribbean, in the northernmost part of South America. The terrain includes mountains, cliffs, plains and dunes.
La Guajira has been sub-divided by its territorial configuration in three major regions from northeast to southeast, which are Alta Guajira, Media Guajira y Baja Guajira. Alta Guajira, is located on the peninsular tip, is semi-deserted, with sparse vegetation where cactus and thistles predominate; and some hills that do not exceed 650 m above sea level, like Macuira, Jarará and Cerro de la Teta. We specialize in plans and tourist routes in the Guajira, Punta Gallinas, after sailing, Macuira, the Alta Guajira.
